About the Journal
Journal of Building, Construction & Design (Jurnal BKD) is a scientific publication containing research, development or application of theory in the field of building design and construction. The journal may cover topics such as structural planning, building materials, construction technology, construction methods, material testing, and construction project planning & design. The aim of this academic journal is to enrich knowledge and understanding of how to build and design buildings that are efficient, safe and sustainable. This journal is often aimed at professionals in the fields of civil engineering and construction, as well as students and academics interested in these fields.
History
- March 2023: Website created, thanks to the Directorate of Information Technology at Andalas University.
- 30 May 2023 : First edition published.
- 14 August 2023: ISSN published by BRIN (3021-7547).
- January 18 2024 : Indexed on the Garuda Portal
- 20 January 2024: The publication schedule has been changed to March, June, September and December. Starting volume 2 in 2024.
- 12 February 2024: adjusted the journal's title to 'Jurnal Bangunan, Konstruksi & desain', as in approved ISSN.
