  • Copyright Ownership

    Authors of manuscripts published in Jurnal Bangunan, Konstruksi & Desain (JBKD) retain the copyright to their work. This means that authors are free to use, share, and distribute their work, provided the terms of the licensing agreement are respected. The journal requires only a non-exclusive right to publish the article and make it available to the public under the terms of the open-access license.

    Licensing Terms

    All articles in JBKD are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) License. This license allows others to:

    • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
    • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.

    The following conditions must be met:

    • Attribution: Proper credit must be given to the original authors and the journal, including citation details such as author names, the journal name, and the DOI link.
    • NonCommercial: The material may not be used for commercial purposes without prior permission from the authors.

    Reproduction and Distribution

    Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their personal websites) before, during, and after the submission process. JBKD allows the archiving of:

    • Preprints: The version of the manuscript before peer review.
    • Postprints: The final accepted manuscript after peer review but before copyediting and formatting.
    • Published Version (Version of Record): The final version of the article as published in the journal.

    This policy supports the principles of open access and ensures long-term accessibility of research.

    Prohibition of Additional Restrictions

    Under the CC BY-NC license, no additional restrictions may be imposed on the use of the published work. The work can be freely shared and adapted, provided the conditions of attribution and non-commercial use are upheld.

    Non-Endorsement Clause

    Users of the published material are not permitted to imply that the original author endorses their use of the work without obtaining explicit permission from the author.
