The journal focuses on topics such as structural engineering, construction materials, construction management, geotechnical engineering, transportation systems, and sustainable building practices. Starting from edition volume 2 in 2024, the JBKD Journal will be published in March, June, September and December. These changes by the editorial team are based on publication needs each semester. By publishing four times every year, it is hoped that the JBKD Journal can become a publication medium for research by the academic community at Andalas University and other universities.
